Mirena insertion - recovery and bleeding
I am booked in to have a mirena inserted in 3 days'' time. How long afterwards can I expect to bleed? I am getting married 19 days after insertion, will the bleeding have cleared up? My period would have been due the day before my wedding.

With the Mirena, the bleeding is unpredictable. Some women bleed irregularly for the first months after insertion, others don't.
