Morning after pill - Norlevo
Yesterday i took the morning after pill but i'm not too sure as to how it was to be taken as the instructions in the box were different to what the lady at the chemist said. The lady at the chemist said: "Take one and take another 12 hours later" but the paper inside the box had these extracts "The treatment necessitates the intake of 2 tablets as a single dose as soon as possible......." and "Take 2 tablets in a single administration as soon as possible......". I following the instructions and took both at the same time.
I'd like to find out:
-- What is the correct way to take the tablet?
-- What would happen if i took them incorrectly?
-- What are the side-effects if taken more than once [I have taken this pill during last year more than once - by taking one and then the other 12 hours later]
-- If i do fall pregnant, how will it affect the baby?
FYI: I took this pill yesterday but had unprotected sex [with my boyfriend] on Sunday. I am currently on the Yasmin contraceptive pill but started on the inactive tablets on Saturday. I also had an abortion in January last year.
Am waiting in anticipation for your advice.

It should be taken 12 hours apart.
If you took two at once it probably wouldn't matter.
If you take Norlevo repeatedly, it can disrupt your cycle.
It will not affect the baby if you conceive.
If you are on Yasmin, it is not necessary to take the emergency pill during the inactive week.
Best wishes
