OVULATION PREDICTION
Hi,
I am a 38 year old woman and I've been trying to conceive for 5 months now. Every month I would urinate on an ovulation prediction stick but it never seemed that I was ovulating. I had a blood test which confirmed that I was indeed ovulating. My gynae illustrated the day 11 to 18 situation (to have intercourse from day 11 of my cycle to day 18). We did and I still haven't fallen pregnant. I would like to know whether it is possible to be ovulating outside of these days ie., is it possible to be ovulating between 3 to 5 days before my period is due?

It is possible to ovulate at unexpected times. However, even if you are ovulating at the right time, it can take up to a year for a normal healthy couple to conceive.
