Painful Periods before and After removal of a cyst
In February I went to Gynae for check up and discovered a cyst 5cm by 5cm on my ovary. Gynae gave me hormones to take for 10 days, hoping it would go away. For 2 months I had had terrible period pain, so that it stopped me from doing normal activities, the flow was also much heavier as well as feeling hot, and nausious. 2 weeks after taking the hormones I went back to Gynae as I was in agony. The cyst was still there and I had a laproscopy. I have since had 2 periods and they are still as painful and I feel the same, could there be something else wrong with me. Maybe my hormones?

Your hormones may well have been thrown out by the cyst. If you had endometriosis this would have been seen at the laparoscopy. Try taking Ponstan with your periods.
