Pancreas relation to period
Hi,
I would like to find out what role (if any) does the pancreas play in the menstrual cycle. Is it responsible for releasing certain hormones during the cycle, or to start the cycle?

Please help?

The pancreas releases insulin as you have heard. If you have PCOS, insulin resistance affects the ovaries and their hormone release which controls your cycle. The way to control this is with Glucophage (for the insulin resistance) and the Pill.

Best wishes
