PAP SMEAR
Just want to find out whether a woman needs to have an annual pap smear after a hysterectomy? I am 49 years old and had my hysterectomy about 19 years ago. I still have my ovaries. I was led to believe that once you undergo a hysterectomy there is no need for pap smears. Is this correct?
