pcos & ovulating
Hi there
I was diagnosed with PCOS and prescribed glucophage. I was also advised to go for a progesterone test to check whether was ovulating. I got the results back and I am ovulating, is this normal? All the literature that I have read says that PCOS affects ovulation and results in infertility.
I know it's a good thing that I'm ovulating, but I am sceptical as I have been trying for a nearly 2 years. My Dr. has said I should take any other fertility treatment for now.
Any advise?

Not all women with PCOS have problems with ovulation. If you are ovulating that is a good sign. It may only be happening since you started the Glucophage though. If you do not conceive, it would also be important to check your tubes and your partner's sperm count.
