Pill vs HRT
If the hrt tabs contain much less hormones than the contraceptive pill how come it's the HRT tablets that make one put on weight? Im newly diagnosed with early menopause and really really dont want to start HRT because im scared of the weight issues that go with it. Wy cant I just go back to the pill that I was taking(Nordette)? I have bad hot flushes during the night and day.

I dont want any more kids. Im 34 yrs old.

Most women do not put on weight with HRT. There is a natural increase in weight with age unrelated to HRT.
