I read pms occurs in the 2nd 2 weeks of your cycle ie after ovulation
I find that a few days before menstruation and till it finishes I suffer from severe depression and anxiety, also feel very very tired despite being anxious.
A few days after menstruation I feel completely normal again for about 2 weeks and then it slowly builds up
This doesnt seem to fit the pms description?
But I have been making notes for a few months now and theres a definite pattern
Any suggestions as to how to treat this
I have tried anti-depressions but find that while they improve my mood during my "bad" cycle they tend to make me too highly strung the rest of the time
I cant understand how I can feel like a normal person and for ten days be almost going crazy

This would be consistent with PMS. You could try taking the Pill, which would smooth your cycle. Alternatively, antidepressants have been used for two months out of every month for this situation.

Best wishes
