I saw that a new form of birth control is called IUD Copper and also there is a IUD Mirena. Is it safe for me to use, I have no children and am 21years old. I am in a commited relationship. Which one has the least side effects and is it safe?

The copper IUCD tends to cause heavy periods and more period pains while the Mirena does not have these effects. If you are both in a committed relationship, the risk of infections from multiple partners would not be an issue, as this can be a problem with the copper IUCD and can lead to blocked tubes. You can thus use either of these methods even if you have not had children.
