Severe pains
Dr, I have a severe period pains 2 days before and after my periods and one Gynae said it is a severe endometriosis and the other gynae said it is fabroids? what are the differences? do i need to go for laparascopy and hsysteroscopy to remove them? Pls advice
Fibroids are growths in the womb. Endometriosis is bits of the wombg lining which have come through the tubes and are lying in the pelvis. It sounds like the diagnosis is not quite certain. A hysteroscopy and laparoscopy will help with the diagnosis. Endometriosis can be burnt off at the time of laparoscopy.
