Suggestive Laporoschopy but no change!
Hi there, I hope you can maybe answer my questions I have regarding a past laporoschopy I had ,seeing as though my own Gynae can't answer them.
About 6 months ago it was discovered that I had cysts on my ovaries, bowel, bladder and utteris. It was suggested that I have a laporoschopy to remove them as I was in so much pain and discomfort and was taking about 6 myprodol tablets a day. I had this uncomfortable opporation done and I did infact feel much better. You could definitely feel the difference. Until 2 weeks afterwards. I started to experience the same pain and discomfort I had before the operation. I contacted my gynae, went in and he said I had nothing to worry about the cycts are not back, it's my spatic colon thats causing the pain. He doesn't return my calls and I feel that the operation was a waste of time, money.I am still having to take the painkillers.

Cysts on the uterus and ovaries are quite common but I'm not sure what was meant by cysts on the bowel and bladder. Unless you had endometriosis, cysts in these areas are uncommon and usually not related. I am afraid that I cannot really assess what the problem was from the information you have given. If spastic colon was thought to be a possibility, try taking Alvercol or Normacol granules daily. This often helps regulate bowel movement and relieves the pain.

Best wishes
