Travel during pregnancy

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and I had a miscarriage
last year. Everything is going well.
I need to travel to Kruger National Park for
a conference next week. My doctor said that I should
be okay but I should also be careful. I might need to travel
to Maputo after that. My husband will be in Inhaca Island
which would mean that I will have to take a boat trip to
get to him. What risk am I putting baby and myself in?

If you have to take malaria prophylaxis, this would not be a good idea. The travel, per se will not put you at risk. The only problem is that you would not have easy access to medical attention if anything happened.
