What effect does upset tummy have on baby?
Yesterday I had some chicken at a work function and last night I did not sleep at all due to stomach cramps and a terribly upset tummy. WIll "bad food" have any effect on the baby (I'm 32 weeks pregnant) or does your body "prevent" it from getting to the baby? I'm sure that it must be the food that we ate, as some of my colleagues have the same symptoms.

Bad food will not affect the fetus. If you have a viral tummy infection though, this can affect the fetus. It would be particularly important to see that you do not have a high fever.
