PAIN IN KNEE
I am 40. Recently been experiencing pain in right knee - only in the morning before I get out of bed. During the day its fine. I have not been excercisng, so this is out. Pls advise.
Dear AC
Sounds like a bit of osteo-arthritis (normal wear and tear changes that take place in the joints as we get older). It sounds as if it gets better once you start moving around. Not a lot one can do, but you can try some of the supplements with chondroitin and glucosamine e.g Osteoeze or ask your pharmacist. You must also stay as active as possible- low-impact exercise like walking is good for the joints.
