bone harvest ringing sound eras
I have gone for an tooth implant. In the prosess the doctor had to harvest bone at the back of my mouth where my wisdom teeth were. Since the procedure I have a ringing sound in my head. Could the procedure and the ringing in my head be associated? If not, what could be the reason for this ringing sound and what can I do about it? Thank you.

Dear Rensie

Yes it is possible that the tinnitus (ringing) might be related to your teeth. Discuss it with your doctor that performed the surgery. There are several possibilities for tinnitus and the best is to get to the root of the problem. Things like bloodpressure, diet, menstruation, disease, noise damage, hearing loss, etc., can cause it. A good place to start is with a general check-up and then a hearing evaluation by an audiologist.
