Dull buzzing in ears
I seem to have this annoying pressure type buzzing in my ears when bending over. It actually sounds as if I am holding a sea shell to my ears. this is mostly in the left ear, and lasts for a few minutes after I have straightend up. What could the cause of this be?

You are experiencing tinnitus. There are several possible causes for it. The best is to start with a general check-up by you GP, to make sure that your general health is in order and specifically your blood pressure. If there are no specific problems and you still haven't found the cause for the ringing in your ears, it would be advisable to have your hearing evaluated by an audiologist. If you don't know of someone in your area, please let me know and i will gladly refer you (izabelle@widex.co.za)
