Deleon,

Tinnitus can definitely interfere with your sleep. It is however important so see if there is a reason for the tinitus. I am not sure if the ENT examined you and if you had your hearing evaluated by an Audiologist . If not , this would be your first step. If the tinitus is there bcause of a hearing loss amplification will be able to help mask out the rinning sound.

If you have done this there are a few other alternatives available.

There are Tinitus maskers/retrainers on the market. This devise looks like a small hearing aid and is inserted in your ear. throught the masker you will just be able to hear a white noise which will also hekp to mask the tinnitus allowing your brain not to focus on this sound

If the tinitus is only present while you are sleeping you can make sure that ther is always some noise in the room. Put the radio on softly or consider a noise gegerator that will sound like the ocean etc. Available at most appliance stores.

Ask your ENT about medications available for Tinitus.

Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.
