Death in the family - leave allowed?
Pse can you advise what the leave is allowable for death in a family. My brother' s daughter (10 weeks old) died when they were out in SA for a holiday.
Is this classified as compassionate leave or do I need to take my annual leave to be with my bereaved family?
What is classified as family responsibility leave or compassionate leave and how long do we get?

RE: DEATH IN THE FAMILY - LEAVE ALLOWED?

Unfortunately you are not covered by family responsibility leave for your brother's daughter. You will need to take annual leave.
