Aircon temperature in Office
Hi

I work in a big office for about 10 or 12 ppl. There is one big central aircon in this office.

I would like to know what temperatures are safe, my reason for this is. example on a day like today it about 22-23 degrees outside. However some of the ppl in the offcie complain if the aircon is on 22 it has to be on 24 or higher for them. eventho it is hot already. Also the doors to the office is closed the whole time, so when entering or exiting the office, you go into a whole diffrent temperature. Is this a good thing, or might it be bad for my health? what temperature do you recomend?

Too warm a temperature will affct most employes concentration and productivity. Aircons are blamed for a multitude of sins - dry eyes, headaches, sinus etc. It can be seen as an artificial environment.

There are laid down max and min working environments. You are wel within them.

Best to attend your safety meeting and try and address the issues.
