Please could someone help me.
I have had RSD for almost 2 years now, resulting from bilateral Carpal Tunnel Surgery. The RSD started in both hands and seems to have progressed throughout my entire body. This has caused me to be off work for a year and a half now. I had the surgery last Feb, went back to work end of May 2005 until August 2005 when I couldn't continue working because my occupation involves using the computer all day.
I am in incredible pain in both my feet and have to use crutches now to get around. The neurologist saw me for the first time a week ago and did nerve conduction tests in both feet and he thinks it's Peripheral Neuropathy. The pain is also in my back.
My employer has had an Incapacity "hearing", whereby the union has asked for Medical Boarding.
The neurologist did send a letter saying that he cannot diagnose an illness at this stage neither can he give a prognosis and that I cannot work due to severe pain. My employer tells me that this letter is not enough and they want a detailed report. I have been to so many OS and Neurologists trying to find a cure.
Various reports have been submitted to the employer over the year as well.
Please can you advise me how much more information do they need because they do know that I use crutches and am under doctors care.
Thank you.

It is most unlikely that the Carpal Tunnel or the surgery caused the symptoms and signs that you are describing. You clearly need assistance. The best professional to sort this out would be an OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE CONSULTANT(DOCTOR). Please contact OCSA for further advice in this regard or ask your GP/EMPLOYER to refer you to one.
