I had cataract surgery one week ago. There were complications - when extracting the lens the capsule ruptured so the IOL had to be placed elsewhere and stitched - I also had a bleeder during the same surgery. I went for my one week follow up today and on eye exam I cannot read anything on the board. What worries me more is I have floaters flitting about 24/7, the eye feels "watery" and when I blink there is like a hazy thing going across my eye - almost like a contact lens in the eye that is shifting about and scratching and I want to take it out - I am fully aware there is something in my eye all the time. I was told today to give it more time as all is in place but will take longer to heal due to the complications. I need the other done but will refuse as I cannot have two eyes like I have now as this is driving me crazy - my vision in the one eye is now worse than it was before surgery and this feeling in my eye with the hazy thing, floaters and irritation and scratching is driving me crazy - when will this heal or will it ever heal?
