3 yrs old runny / stuffy nose!
Hi there Dr!
Im in need of advise....
My son who is now 3, has just recovered from some horrid virus which caused high fever ect! He has been off his Augmentin now for a week and has started with a runny nose (clear), slight cough and watery eyes. So i presume its a head cold! I have started him on 5ml Flusin 3 times a day, 5ml Prospan 3 times a day and sterimar nose spray!
Should this be enough for my poor child? he seems to be eathing okish, but not 100% himself! Pls advice!
Thanx so much

I am happy with the way that you are treating your son's cold especially with you using Sterimar to help to clear his runny nose. I am not happy about giving him Flusin which contains pseudoephedrine and an old fashioned sedating antihistamine. These ingredients of Flusin will make him feel rather misreble especially as you are giving the Flusin 3 times a day. So it would be best to stop Flusin. You can continue to give him the Prospan.
