4 month refuses formula
Dear doc

My 4 and a half month daughter is exclusively breastfed. I have started her on 1 tsp cerelac and purity veg or fruit morning and afternoon.
I am due back at work on the 15 August and my nightmare is that she wont accept any formula. I have purchased every bottle on the market so far. She has doubled her birth weight by 14 weeks, so she has gained nicely.
I am worried that when i go back to work and she goes to creche, she is not going to have enough nutrients throughout the day. I am going to continue breastfeeding in the morning and throughout the evening, so as to ensure she gets enough milk in.
Any advice?

This is a difficult but rather common problem. Your baby is thriving on breastmilk and won't take any formula and you have tried many formulas already. You can try one more formula and that is NAN Pelargon. If she won't take this formula it will be best to give your baby expressed breast milk for the time she is at the creche.
