"My daughter is 13 months old. Chesty coughs, can I give her aspelone
"My daughter is 13 months old. She keeps struggling with cough and it seems like mucus is on her chest, i took her to the dr and he gave her anti biotics and nebulizing medicine nearly two weeks back. Can I give her aspelone"
It sounds like your baby has a bad cold with a chest infection. at this time of year it is almost certainly a RS virus infection. This illness usually lasts for about 3 weeks before clearing up. Of course antibiotics will not help due to this being a virus infection. In fact you must give your baby a probiotic such as Reuterina for 10 days. You can give her a short (5 day) course of Aspelone, the dose is 5 ml once daily for the 5 days
