Allergic to insect bites
My son is allergic to insect bites. The area where the pimples are get so swollen and he scratches nonstop. I have given him Allergex and used calamine lotion but it is not working. The pharmacist won't give me anything else. Can you recommend a cream that will work fast and effectively.

This can be a big problem and of course the answer to prevent insect bites is easier said than done. For local relief, the best advice would be a low strength steroid cream. However, I am not sure about your child's age or other associated symptoms. You may need to discuss the best options with your doctor.
