My LO is 8 months old and she has a constant runny nose. She's been in creche from 4 months old and I always thought that it's just the bug making it's rounds again. She will have a few days that it gets better and then she's sick again. She's also got a cough but it might be from all the mucus in her nose..?

Can it be that she might be allergic to something. How will I know when it's allergies? I'm giving her Demazin at the moment but do you think I should maybe try something like Allergex and see if there's improvement. Thanks for the help.

If the problem was due to allergies then she would improve on Demazin, which she has not done. It sounds as if she is developing one infection after another due to viruses doing the rounds at the creche. Only use infant saline nose drops twice a day every day for at least 10 days and see if she clears up.
