Another sleepless night query
For the past week and a half I have been having terribly restless nights with my 2yr old boy.
He had conjunctivitis about a week ago which wasnt too bad and sorted out quickly enough.
I was also wondering about ' night terrors'  because he would wake up screaming and crying and nothing i tried to console him with would help, he would scream and kick me away. I had to switch lights on and tv before he calmed down and was 100% happy, not the least bit disturbed! He wuld wake up like this 4times a night or so for a few days it carried on.
This last few days he has been waking up even more (up to 8times a night) although not with the screaming and hysterics. He crawls around the bed moaning. I was wondering if he is getting his last set of molars as he used to crawl around the bed like this when he was a baby and teething. He also has a blocked nose at night the last few days and I am rubbing him with vicks so he can breathe easier.
I am sooo tired! I am a single working mommy and i am suffering from exhaustion!
Please help! Im at a loss of what to do anymore.
thanks so much

There seems to be several reasons why your son is not sleeping well lately. He is having 'night terrors' which is common at his age. This is best dealt with by going to him and reassuring him, giving him a cuddle and then leaving his room. A nightlight is useful in his room. Then he may be teething, quite a strong possibility as his molars may be coming through. Here he probably needs Panado or Calpol at night to help for pain. Then he has a blocked nose which is a big problem at his age as he cannot sleep with a blocked nose. Use Salex nose drops twice daily to clear his nose.
