At what age do kids stop drinking milk?
Thanks for the reply to my other mail, regarding my daughter who has returned home & is now in creche - adjustment problems
Doc, she doesn't want formula anymore. SHe always has a bottle at bedtime, but this week, she even refuses this. She also doesn't want anything to eat. The caregiver at creche says that she gets plenty to eat & drink during the day. Hoewever, thid doesn't include any milk. Despite me asking them to give her some milk to drink during the day, her formula gets sent back home everyday.
I called the creche just now & was told that she is nearly 2 yrs so she doesn't need that formula now & kids generally stop drinking milk at this age.
I certainly will give her milk in some form over the weekends. But please advise.

She certainly can do with little if any milk now as she should be taking a good mixed diet. Make sure she takes enough fluid-she needs 100ml for every kilo she weighs per 24 hour period.
