baby sleep - need help
Hi,
My son is 7 months old. From about 5 months he dropped his evening feed. He does however sleep with his dummy and so we would still need to get up 2-3 times a night to pop the dummy back in. In terms of getting him to sleep, 50% of the time I can put him in his cot and he will go to sleep by himself, but the rest of the time he wants to be rocked. For his day time sleeps he definitely prefers being rocked, but when I put him down for the night he is often okay.
Over the last week his sleep has taken a serious turn for the worse. He has been getting up 8-12 times per night over the last week. He has been crying, often wanting food, but sometimes not. I have had to rock to back to sleep often as he just won't settle anymore.
Any suggestions of why this sudden turn for the worse? He started creche 2 months ago, but I am sure if it was that, this all would have started sooner.
Any suggestions? Could this just be a passing phase?? Please help??

This could be a bit of anxiety due to the creche attendance. Make sure that his tummy is full before he goes to sleep. be very calm when he is going off to sleep. Have lots of patience.
