Bites and diarrhoea
Doc, please help me. My son is 17 months. For the last couple of days he has been having diarrhoea in the morning and afternoons, nothing in the evenings. I cant feel any teeth coming, this has been happening for 4 days, its not to severe, but has a acid smell. He is eating like normal (which is not a lot, but ok) and he is drinking water and parmalat first growth. Im giving him Kaostatex 5ml. Any ideas on what it is or what else I should do? Also he has been coming home with these bites for a while now but yestedays was the worst, if you feel under the skin it is hard small balls. Yesterday he came back with a lot from creche, he has even scratched them open that they are scabbing as they are so itchy, I have cleant it with detol and put thick layers of anthisan last nite &  this morning. He has on hi legs feet, arms and even ear. Any suggestions? Thanx for all your help in the past aswell.......

You are welcome. It seems that your little toddler has developed a gastro infection. This is most likely to be due to a virus infection. The main thing is to make sure that he does not become dehydrated so give him frequent drinks of Rehidrat solution. His diarrhoea should stop after a day or two.
His skin rash could be due to scabies. Please take him to your doctor or clinic nurse for treatment.
