Breastfed baby constipated?
My 4 month old baby always had a bowel movement at least two times daily. From about a week ago this changed to about one every 2-3 days? She is also very gassy (which she never was?). I still eat the same type of foods. Is she constipated? What can I do to relieve it?
If her stools are still soft and normal then she probably is not constipated. She may be developing a form of lactose intolerance and it would be worthwhile trying her on a lactose-free fomula for a few days just to see if her windiness improves as well as her bowel movements.
