Chances of baby having asthma

I am asthmatic and have been for most of my life, I also suffer with my sinus and hayfever.

My baby is 7 and a half mths and was struggling with an allergy and blocked nose a few mths back. He is currently on Zyrtec (2 drops in the morning) and Nasanex (1 spray in each nostril at night).

My questions are, is these dosages correct, can I prevent my baby from ending up with asthma, and if so what else can I do?

Thank you!

Your baby has a very high chance [50/50] of developing asthma before the age of 2 years. Be especially on the lookout for early signs of asthma especially a persistent dry cough occurring late at night.
You can use the Zyrtec syrup for his nasal allergy, but I am not happy with such a young baby being on a cortisone nasal spray for prolonged period.
