Constipation
my 22mnths daughter has been struggling to poo, i took her to her paede then she sent her for sonar and x ray .Radiologist says there is nothing wrong but only lots of gas, she prescriped the pegico l( for chronic constipation)and certain medicine i forget the name. The paede said if she is still constipated i should take her to a dietician. Please help what else must i give her i'm really worried 'cause she is refusing to eat she just drink the Nespray, i'm worried about the apetite too?

Your daughter seems to be very constipated and uncomfortable with this constipation. Her diet of Nespray only is probably the main reason for her problem as she should be eating a full mixed diet at her age with lots of fruit and fibre in her diet.A dietician should be able to advise you about a good diet for her.Use the medicines prescribed by the doctor for her constipation, they are usually very effective and if she is no better after 4 or 5 days contact the doctor again and make sure that your child is seen again.
