My son had a cold since last saturday, blocked nose and a bit of couhing. He is better now, the nose is not as blocked(in fact it get a bit stuffy at night only). He is 5 weeks old. The only problem is, he seems to have " mucus"  on his throat, its what used to come out of his nose. And the only way he manages to get it out is by coughing and throwing up. This happens mostly after feeding. I''m concerned about the coughing. He feeds normally, doesn''t have fever. I used saline drops to unblock his nose. Should i take him to the doctor?
Thank you in advance

I am concerned about your baby's cough. He is still very young. It is possible that he has whooping cough which can start like this in babies. Continue to keep his nose clear with the saline nose drops. It would definitely be best to ask your paedatrician to see your baby.
