My son is 9 months old and since Friday he started to have at least 3 soiled nappies a day and the stools are very runny and off colour and it smells terrible. I didn' t change his diet so my only thoughts is that it could either be diarrhea or he is teething. (He doesn' t have any teeth yet). Just before this happend he also started to wake up during the night. He used to sleep without waking. Other than this he is a very happy baby. He wakes up happy and he eats very well, but as soon as nighttime comes he becomes moody and cry alot.
Should I just wait a while to see if it can be teeth or should I take him to his doctor? If it is diarrhea I don' t want to wait.

Your baby does appear to be having diarrhoea. This is not due to teething. The good news is that he is not vomiting and he appears to be quite happy. To be on the safe side it would be best to take him see your doctor.
