Feeding Pattern
Hi Doc
Please could you tell me if my little one who is 8 months old is eating enough.
She has porridge in the morn with a bottle of 175ml formula. She has a purity 2nd food vegie for lunch at about 12 and then another bottle of 175ml formula. At 4 she has a fruit purity and another bottle 175ml formula,then supper she has cereal at 8 with her final bottle of 175ml formula. Is this enough or too much? I get told that she eats too much,do you think so?

The most important thing is to see what your baby's weight does. What you describe sounds appropriate, although the purity at 4pm could be replaced by a fresh fruit and you need to ensure that nothing is unnecessarily sweetened. You may also ask our on line dietician for advice.
