Fontanelle's closed at 7 months
Hi Doc,

My 7-month old boy's fontanelles are already closed. I read somewhere that it is too early. Should I have him checked out. He seems normal in every other way.

If everything is normal there would be no immediate reason for concern. It may be a good idea to take him for a routine 9 month check-up, when the development and head size can be evaluated formally.
