Going off breastmilk
Dear Doc

I have been exclusively breast feeding my daughter of now 9 months from when she was born as she never took formula she didn''t like it at all. I also tried different brans thinking she might like one, but still she refused.

I now want to stop breasfeeding when she turn one and anm not sure what to give her to replace the milk as she doesn''t like formula. I feel so guilty because I know brestmilk is the best. How do I make the transition and most importantly what do I replace the breastmilk with?

Thank you

Your daughter is very happy on breastmilk now and you do intend to continue breastfeeding her until she is 12 months. At that stage you can try her on one of the growth formulas such as Nido or Parmalat First Growth milk or even regular fullcream cow's milk.
