Grinding of teeth
Hi

Does grinding of teeth by a 22 month old baby call for concern. My baby does that at times, but not frequently. He does not do it during his sleep only during the day, when he's playing.
What could be the cause of this. Could it mean he's got worms? Should i de-worm him even if he does not have symptoms of having worms?

This can be a habit which is very difficult to stop. There is a strong belief in SA that worms are the 'cause' although this has never been proven. You wil do no harm by giving him a single dose of Albendazole worm treatment-ask your pharmacist.
Another treatment you can try is Aterax Syrup which is a very safe old fashioned antihistamine. Give him 2.5ml at night and see if it helps.
