HEADACHE'S DUE TO ACCIDENT 5 YEARS AGO??
MY DAUGHTER WAS IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE A CAR DROVE OVER HER. SHE WAS 2 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME, SHE IS NOW 7YEARS OLD. NOTHING WAS BROKEN, BUT WAS BURNT ON SEVERAL PARTS OF HER BODY. THE TYRE MISSED HER HEAD BY ABOUT AN INCH. CT SCANS WERE DONE TO MAKE SURE NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO HER BRAIN AND HEAD AND THERE WAS ONLY SWELLING. LATELY SHE HAS BEEN COMPLAINING TOO OFTEN THAT SHE HAS A HEADACHE. COULD THIS BE RELATED. IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT? I AM CONCERNED AND DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THIS. SHOULD I TAKE HER TO OUR DOCTOR.

It is very important never to ignore the complaint of frequent headaches in a child. There may be nothing serious that is causing this complaint, but it is important to make sure that there is nothing to be concerned about. It seems unlikely that she has a problem relating to her accident from your description of the events at the time.Do you feel that she has anything that is worrying her, have her burns healed well and left no obvious scars? It would be best to have her seen by a paediatrician as soon as possible to make sure about her headaches.
