Penis of a two years 10 months itchy.
Hi
My son has been complaining recently about an itchy penis, i get worried but dont know which doctor to take him , ...a paed , a GP or a urologist? i dont know what to do anymore, is it a call for concern though , what could be the problem? I did unfold the skin of the penis to find some white fungul stuff, i washed it off with soap and water. Is this itchiness caused by a dirty penis or infection? Please advise. Thanks

It is difficult to be sure what is causing the itch without being able to see your son. It is possible that he has developed a candida infection of his penis especially if he has had antibiotics recently. Take him to your paediatrician for an opinion.
