Scared of water
My son has just turned 23 months, and all of a sudden he is terrified to get into the bath water. He hasn' t had a bad experience or anything. I have to pry him off me and put him in the bath, and he kicks and screams. I play with him and his bath toys, then after a while he settles.
Is this common? Is there anything I can do to make it less stressful for both of us? Is this just a phase?

This is a passing phase but sometimes it can last for ages.Make bath time fun. Let him choose his toys to put in the bath and let him put them into the bathwater before climbing in. It often helps if you get into the bath with him. You have to have loads of patience with him.
