Should I be worried
Hi Doc,

So my son will be 11 months on Sunday. He has really grown in terms of weight etc. He' s now 9.98kg. He' s tall and very very very active . He' s got 8 teeth already and he claps and waves goodbye. Calls me mmmaa and his dad dada/papa. He know has a new word in his vocab and it' s nna(meaning me) so to cut the long story short... he has not started walking yet nor has he started standing on his own independently. He stands using the furniture and would walk using the furniture as well. When you try to take him by the hand and walk with him he refuses. My mother-in-law says he should be attempting to walk or stand by now.

There is no need for concern. Your baby is developing well and seems to be a very smart little fellow. Most babies only start pulling themselves up and standing by 12 months and walk by 13 to 14 months.
