SICK BABY - DR PLS HELP
My 5 month old has been prescribed Zyrtec, Otrvin & Inflanaze by the ENT. He could require grommets but the ENT wants the PND to better first. Are these medicines safe to give my baby. He is on a probiotic and also suffers from GORD so has special formula.
Should i change formula??
How long and what does this medicine do ??How can i stop my baby getting "colds"

Inflanaze is a cortisone spray used in older children with allergic nasal problems. It will have absolutely no beneficial effect on your baby's post nasal drip.I don't like using Otrivin in such a young baby either as it may cause a problem called rebound rhinitis. The Zyrtec may help a bit and it is safe. I would advise you to only use the Zyrtec and infant saline nose drops twice a day to clear his nose.
