tantrums at 14 months
I don't know what to do my little girl has started having tantrums - screaming arching her back and throwing herself back on the floor sometimes if she doesn't get her own way - eg if she tries to shut the bedroom door and I stop her - or if I try to dress her or take something away from her. Please help I don't know what to do and why she is doing this all of a sudden

This is a typical temper tantrum. The best way to deal with this problem is to ignore each performance. When she starts up, make sure that she cannot hurt herself and then simply leave the room and close the door. Only re-enter the room when she has stopped crying and screaming. Do this each and every time she starts with her tantrums. She will soon get the message.
