Traumatised?
Hi,
My son of almost 5 had an accident at school last Wednesday. One of the other kids pushed him and he fell with his head against the corner of a desk. Needless to say I took him to the doctor and he got 4 stitches right next to his eye. I give him pain medication as directed. He really don' t want to go back to school (I took him today). He cries alot and is very aggressive towards his brother (6). Did this episode traumatise him and if so what can we do to help him cope.
Thanks for your time.

The most likely reason that your son does'nt want to go to school is probably because he is being bullied there. The No.1 suspect is the child who pushed him last week.Speak to the teacher and to the principal and make sure that this bullying stops.
