Underdeveloped lungs
I have a friend who gave birth to quite a big baby, over 4 kg. The baby had premature lungs. How is that possible. It was a full term baby. My baby was born just past 38 weeks and her lungs was perfect.

This is fairly common in very large babies. It is particularly found in babies born to mothers with diabetes. The condition can be successfully treated and the baby will do well.
