wheat allergy
Hi doc! I took my 14 month old toddler to a paediatrician for a rash that wouldn''t go away. She has an allergy to wheat. I''m so stressed out as to what to feed her now. She is breastfed & a poor eater. Pls can you give me a few guidelines with regard to her diet. Also what cream should I use on her body. Her rash is on her arms & cheeks.
Your little girl seems to have an eczema rash. Wheat allergy is quite conmmon in children with eczema, but wheat-free diets are very difficult to apply. It is best to get the advice of a dietician in your area. Fortunately your daughter has a very good chance of outgrowing her wheat allergy.Use Epimax Junior on her body after bathing her.You can also apply this cream to her arms and cheeks.
