When one has the flu what is the benefit of an injection?How come it works so much quicker than medication would??What does it do exactly?

A penicillin injection would not help for flu. Penicillin is an antibiotic meaning it may be used against some bacterial infection. Flu is caused by a virus renedering antibiotics useless. If a secondary infection is present an antibiotic may however be prescribed.
